Because the fabrication of building-elements is well-suited for industrial automation, the CBS System involves various automation processes which not only increase the speed of the manufacturing process, but also establish a high degree of accuracy and efficient quality control management.

Although the concrete building elements are uniformly manufactured, the CBS System allows individual architectural freedom, making it easy to manufacture buildings according to local designs.

With the programmed Control Systems which operate the CBS Factory production lines, up to 3,200 m² wall-, ceiling-, and roof components; can be produced daily, based on two shifts. More than 70% of all of the necessary work which needs to be done to the building, can take place in the CBS factory. The CBS industrially produced building elements are unsurpassed in quality, speed of execution and efficiency.

Short explanation of the CBS Production Process

The manufacturing process is optimized according to the calculations made by the CBS software. Depending on the requirements; climate and local availability of raw materials, an optimized solution is created for the project on hand. This systematic method permits construction in separate and individual stages.

The lightweight concrete, encased by the steel sections form the CBS structural building elements. All building elements, steel- and concrete parts can be produced consecutively and in parallel. The construction elements can be produced in any admeasurement up to 3 meters high and 10 meters wide.

Due to the fact that the aggregates for lightweight concrete; mainly sand, water and cement, are known and available everywhere, which enables a continuous chain of fabrication of the building elements.

The flexibility of the CBS System permits diversity of modifications to meet individual requirements at the factory:

  • The type of concrete

    • Aerated light-weight concrete
    • Light-weight concrete with addittives such as wood chip or plaster
  • The density of the elements

    • 300 to 1800 kg/m³
  • The thickness of the inner and outer walls

  • The size of the wall elements

    • Wall elements: up to 10 m. by 3 m.
  • The distance between the steel carrying-beams

According to the given construction-physical demands, the density of the lightweight concrete elements is determined by adjusting the air/ sand ratio of the concrete mix.
